About the artist

Kira Shemesh, a fluid artist from Carmel, Indiana, is known for creating the perfect piece for your special space. Having taken art classes in college, Kira has always loved art but it was not until watching a friend do fluid art a few years ago that she found her passion. You can read more about her story in Current for Carmel. She creates one of a kind pieces and uses several different mediums and fluid art techniques including dutch pour. She enjoys working with her clients and will even come to their residence to discuss color options and design. Kira will face time if requested while completing the art piece to ensure satisfaction with the commission.   

Kira also has a passion for working with the elderly and is a certified Scripps OMA art facilitator. Kira's art has been featured at local restaurants, galleries and businesses including Peace Water Winery, Jacquie's Cafe, Iot Lab, Business Furniture and High Frequency Arts. Throughout the United States, Kira has been commissioned to create over 700 unique works of art.  In March 2021, she was the featured artist on the Two Chicks & a Hammer and Austin Life apps. Kira has recently been chosen as a local artist to provide art for the new State Bank in Carmel and Lafayette.
